Kung Fu Panda

So yesterday evening, a friend of mine and I wanted to spend time watching a movie. We went to Gold Ad Labs hoping to catch Love Story 2050 – but ended up watching Kung Fu Panda instead. And trust me, it was well worth it.

As such, most paid previews are rumored to begin late, and so did this one too – about an hour and a half late. But then again, the movie was soooo worth it!

The opening lines of the movie: “Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend.” and “It is said that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!” set the tone of the entire animated flick – at once funny and at once filled with all kinds of Zen wisdom (“There are no accidents” and “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”)

The movie is a great watch for kids and adults alike – the only condition is that you must be a fan of martial arts…otherwise don’t even bother. Of course, towards the end of the movie is the inevitable message…but I am not going to be a spoiler on that one!

Good fun and good laughs – the movie is pure entertainment.
